About Us

  • The Surrey County Fostering Association (SCFA) is a nationally recognised Fostering Association and a Surrey Fostering Service approved organisation. 

  • Membership to the SCFA is automatic and free upon approval as a Surrey Foster Carer. 

  • The SCFA has elected officers and a committee of carers with specialist interests 

  • The Surrey County Fostering Association (SCFA) is run by Surrey carers on a voluntary basis.

Get Involved

  • Attend your local support group.​

  • Organise an event or meet up.

  • Share your skills with the fostering community.

  • Feedback your views to the association committee.

  • Join the Commitee

How We Help

  • We bring the voice of the carers to many boards and focus groups.

  • We can attend meetings alongside carers, offering support if necessary.

  • We feedback to the service using evidence from practice.
